We were appointed to a specialist multi-disciplinary team led by DMOD Architects in 2021 in relation to the stabilisation, repair & conservation of  St. Davids Castle in Naas. The building originally comprised of a medieval tower house which was possibly reconstructed in the 15th century from an earlier structure as part of the construction of the town walls when Naas became a Norman stronghold. Later phases of extensions to the east are likely of Georgian/18th century origin.

The works are being carried out on a phased basis supported by multi-annual conservation grant funding. A phase of roofing works was completed in 2021, followed by further structural stabilisation works in 2022 and window repair and reinstatement works scheduled for 2024.
