We are pleased to form part of a consortium appointed by Dublin City Council to research the characteristics and energy upgrade potential of pre-1945 historic dwellings in Dublin City. The consortium comprises of Building Life Consultancy, Fergal McGirl Architects and IHER Energy Services. We will carry out a particular role in classification of dwelling types from the 18th century to 1945 and heritage impact assessments of any upgrade measures proposed. The document is due to be published at the end of 2019.

The draft of the book has been submitted this week to Dublin City Council and the Heritage Council for review. There is some work to be done over the winter on in-situ U-value measurements and we are hoping to see it published in the Spring of 2015.
