being an architect in meath

by fmgarchitects.

We often get asked why we do the majority of our work in Co. Meath being Dublin based architects.

When FMG Architects was established in Ratoath in 2000, it was one of the fastest growing towns in Ireland. A family run construction company was active at the time (father now retired!) and became one of our first clients in Co. Meath.

The success of the two phases of Jamestown childcare facility in Ratoath, Co. Meath led to being commissioned to the community childcare projects in Ballivor, Summerhill, Navan, Kells and Dunshaughlin under the government EOCP and NCIP schemes.

Our services as architects with local communities in Meath expanded to include credit unions and sports facilities.

We have always maintained a constructive relationship with the staff of the planning department in Navan, Co. Meath which has often led to innovative solutions to difficult sites.

We have always found Meath an interesting place for an architect to work with its dynamic towns and sensitive rural areas and historic building stock.
